The first season of the TV show has Preeta and Srishti, who are sisters, as the main characters in the Kundali Bhagya story. They lived in a small village with their dad. Their mom left when they were young. They wanted to find their mom and be with her again after their dad passed away. So, they went to look for her in Bombay. Preeta, a doctor, was hired to look after the grandmother of the Luthra family. Karan, the young boy, started to have feelings for her. They like each other a little bit and their oldest child, Rishabh, works at the same company as Preeta. Karan and Preeja loved each other a lot, but they never said it out loud. In the end, they were really good friends.
In the present episode, Palki tells Shanaya that she is concerned because she has never seen Rajveer act like this before. She thinks he might have been drinking, but she can also see that he is hurt. She also thinks that something to do with the Luthra family is involved. Shanaya says Rajveer works for the Luthra and that’s why he doesn’t like them. Shanaya tells Palki not to think like this because it won’t help her. Shanaya turns off the light and tells Palki to go to sleep. But Palki gets out of bed and goes to stand by the window, thinking about what Rajveer said to her.
Preeta is worried because it’s late and Rajveer hasn’t come back. She asks Gurpreet to come with her to the Luthra Mansion to find Rajveer. Gurpreet says she spoke with Karan Luthra recently, but Preeta insists she talks to him again. Karan is surprised when Preeta calls and asks what’s wrong. Preeta explains that Rajveer is missing and she’s worried. Karan promises to bring Rajveer back. Preeta trusts Karan, even though they’re not related. Gurpreet believes that Preeta trusts Karan because he is her husband. She prays that they will reconcile once Preeta finds out the truth.

In the upcoming episode, Karan is sitting on his bed, thinking about helping Preeta and Rajveer. He wants to help, but he knows Rajveer won’t accept it. He’s wondering where he can go at this late hour.
